The 48th English Festival of Junior High School Students in Ito & Hashimoto District
On November 18th, the festival was held at Hashimoto Kyoiku Bunnka Kaikan. From our school many students attended this festival. 3rd grade students have great speeches. They are Miyuki Kadotani, Nagisa Ujioka. Miyuki talked about her family. She loves her family and they understand what she wants to be in the future. Nagisa had speech titled “The Most Important Thing” Her treasure are family and the things that she had learned. And Takuya Katsu, Naoki Wada, Yuki Okamatsu, Ryo Makino, they are also 3rd grade, introduced our school and two clubs they join. They belong to “Judo” and “Kendo” clubs and told us what Japanese “BUDO” is. It was very interesting. ALTs are very impressed. From 1st grade, 6 girls show a performance named “No Phone Call”. The story was about a girl who bought a new mobile phone but she couldn’t have any calls and mails. She finally noticed that she didn’t tell anyone her phone number. It was funny story!
Everyone that attended this festival was motivated to study English more. Key word for studying English is “be positive!”
